I have been teaching English for over ten years. I understand most of the students are busy preparing for their exam revision. However, English is not like Maths or other subjects. Now I am going to give you 3 tips that will help students from primary 6 to secondary 1.
1. Get your Grammar ready
English is something with rules. Make sure you have to understand how the rules work and use them properly.
2. Vocabulary
Learn different types of words
e.g. nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs etc
Remember the words through reading text comprehension. The next step is to spell the words right.
3. Sentences
Try to learn more new sentence patterns for writing
Be careful while using adjective patterns, conditional sentences, direct/indirect speech etc.
It is important to make a complete sentence and avoid mistakes.
